Maintenance Mechanic

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $36-$40/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team.

Maintenance Mechanic Highlights:

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Complete pump repairs, mechanical seal replacements, packing replacements, and equipment alignments.
• Install new equipment and support facility upgrades and capital projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and assist with maintenance-related projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant operations.
• Help develop maintenance procedures and improve inventory management systems.
• Work in a collaborative, hands-on environment where teamwork and initiative are valued.
• Contribute to a smaller maintenance team with a high level of autonomy and variety in daily tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience working with pumps, seals, process equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operators and team members.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday
• Limited overtime as required
• $36.00–$40.00/hour
• Annual bonus program
• Full benefits package
