CNC Machine Operator

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet production standards and blueprint specifications. The ideal candidate has prior machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to work orders and production specifications.
• Load machine programs, adjust machine settings, and perform equipment changeovers as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor tooling and machine performance, replacing worn tooling and performing routine machine maintenance.
• Load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished products while maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate production issues or equipment concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce quality work consistently.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
