A leading manufacturing company equipped with advanced machinery and innovative technology is seeking a Junior Accountant I to join its growing team in Chatsworth, CA. The company specializes in the formulation and production of a wide range of skincare products, including creams, lotions, serums, and masks.

Summary: This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Junior Accountant I will support the accounting department by assisting with day-to-day accounting functions, helping to streamline processes and reduce the workload of senior accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Enter and verify financial data with a high level of accuracy.
• Generate and maintain accounting reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Support senior accountants with special projects and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of accounting experience required.
• Previous manufacturing accounting experience is required.
• Knowledge of cost accounting is a plus, but not required.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
