We are seeking two experienced Mobile Diesel / Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join their team.

Position Overview
This is a mobile mechanic position responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's fleet and equipment while traveling between multiple local facilities and responding to roadside breakdowns when necessary.
The position is local, and overnight travel is not required.
Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems

Diagnose and repair electrical systems
-
Service and repair gas-powered engines and equipment
-
Utilize computer diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
-
Respond to roadside breakdowns when needed
-
Maintain accurate repair documentation
-
Work independently while supporting the maintenance team
Qualifications

Requirements:
-
Experience repairing diesel trucks and/or heavy equipment
-
Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, gas engines, and computer diagnostics

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Own a broad assortment of mechanic's tools (specialized shop equipment is provided by the employer)
-
Live within approximately a 20-mile commute of the primary work location to support the take-home company vehicle program
