Overview:  Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Carpenter to assist a custom home builder with a new duplex construction project in Bremerton. This is a short-term opportunity for someone with residential construction experience who is comfortable working with framing and siding installation.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Assist with wood framing on a brand-new duplex project
• Install Hardie Board siding according to specifications
• Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow job site safety requirements and maintain a clean work area
• Work closely with the construction team to complete project goals on schedule

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry or residential construction experience and experience with framing and installing Hardi Board siding is required
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and make precise cuts
• Own tools required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Hours/Shift:
Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-4:30pm and Friday from 7:00am-11:30am for 1-2 weeks

 

Pay:
$25 / hour DOE
