We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at a fast-paced, 24/7 commercial facility. This position is responsible for leading a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians while ensuring all production equipment, machinery, utilities and facility systems operate safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Every day, the facility processes thousands of pounds of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in keeping production moving by maintaining equipment, planning preventive maintenance and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians
• Ensure maximum uptime of all production equipment in a 24/7 operation
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and PLC-controlled systems
• Maintain and repair of JENSEN commercial equipment and other brands of industrial equipment, including:
  • Industrial and tunnel washers, dryers and ironers
  • Automatic feeders and folders
  • Conveyors and sorting systems
  • Stackers and finishing equipment
  • Boilers and steam systems
  • Pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
• Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and inventory
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensure OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all safety standards are followed
• Partner with Production leadership to prioritize repairs and improve operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and lower maintenance costs
• Lead equipment installations, capital projects, and facility improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial laundry, food processing, or another high-volume production environment
• Experience supervising maintenance technicians
• Strong knowledge of:
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Industrial electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Steam and boiler systems
  • Motors, drives, pumps, bearings, and gearboxes
  • HVAC and facility infrastructure
• Experience maintaining JENSEN equipment and other brands of industrial equipment is highly preferred
• Experience working on tunnel washers, industrial washers, dryers, ironers, automatic folders, feeders, and conveyor systems
• Proficiency using CMMS software
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including responding to after-hours emergencies when needed
