Delivery Assistant

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Delivery Assistant for a local client!

Are you dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable with physical work? We are seeking a Delivery Assistant to support a busy local company with deliveries, material handling, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and wants the potential to grow into installation-related responsibilities.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with deliveries to residential and commercial customers
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer interactions
• Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage
• Help maintain an organized and clean delivery vehicle and work area
• Support the delivery team with multiple deliveries on busy days
• Assist with other warehouse and material handling duties as needed
• Potential opportunity to learn and assist with installations in the future

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials on a regular basis
• Comfortable loading and unloading products throughout the day
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing workloads
• Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or labor experience is helpful but not required
