Schedule: Thursday-Saturday | 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Manufacturing Chemist Team Lead to oversee laboratory operations on the night shift. This is a hands-on leadership role in an industrial manufacturing environment where you'll support quality testing, production, and continuous improvement while helping lead the lab team.

What You'll Do

• Lead laboratory operations during your shift
• Perform quality control testing on production materials
• Maintain chemical solutions and water treatment systems
• Troubleshoot production and chemical-related issues
• Assist with inventory, documentation, and reporting
• Support safety and process improvement initiatives
• Train and assist team members as needed
• Use Microsoft Excel to track and analyze laboratory data

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• 2+ years of laboratory, chemical, or manufacturing experience
• Power BI experience
• Industrial manufacturing background

Work Environment

This is a hands-on role in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working on the production floor around chemicals, heat, and noise.
