Inventory / Accounts Payable Clerk

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $22.00–$24.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking an Inventory / Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

Inventory / Accounts Payable Clerk Highlights:

• Perform high-volume daily inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels across multiple sites and verify customer billing.
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing and provide backup support as needed.
• Process intercompany transactions and support month-end accounting activities.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger entries and general accounting reconciliations.
• Contact vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software and Excel.
• Work closely with the Controller and receive cross-training on internal processes.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control, Accounts Payable, or accounting support.
• Strong reconciliation experience with high-volume data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP software is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 
• Full-time, in-office position
• $22.00–$24.00/hour
