Maintenance Technician

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $25.00–$27.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Maintenance Technician Highlights:

• Complete general maintenance and repair work, including drywall, flooring, furniture assembly, blinds, tables, small appliances, dishwashers, laundry equipment, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and independently prioritize service calls.
• Troubleshoot repair issues and research solutions before outsourcing work when appropriate.
• Assist with water testing at select properties (training provided).
• Use a tablet to manage work orders and complete basic documentation.
• Travel between multiple properties throughout the workday using a company vehicle or personal vehicle when required.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional residential properties while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience.
• Class 5 Driver's Licence with at least 3 years of driving experience and a clean Driver's Abstract.
• Criminal Record Check required prior to employment.
• Proof of vehicle insurance required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls throughout the day.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with residents and staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using tablets and electronic work order systems.
• Personal tools are an asset (company tools and training provided).
• Reliable, organized, and dependable.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• $25.00–$27.00/hour
