Salary: $28-$38/hr DOE

 We are seeking an experienced Plasma Machine Operator / Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Fitchburg, MA. This position will be responsible for operating a plasma cutting machine to produce quality parts while reading blueprints, inspecting work, and assisting with welding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up a plasma cutting machine to produce quality parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Use overhead cranes to safely move and position materials
• Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
• Assist with welding and fabrication as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

 Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience required
• Welding experience required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
