Location: Salinas, CA (4 days/week) & Watsonville, CA (1 day/week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity supporting the maintenance and upkeep of multiple residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment.

The position requires working four days per week in Salinas and one day per week in Watsonville, so reliable transportation is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and grounds.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs.
• Repair or replace fixtures, locks, doors, light bulbs, and other building components.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Keep properties clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Assist with landscaping and exterior maintenance as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders.
• Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous property maintenance, building maintenance, facilities, or general handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Salinas and Watsonville work sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and other physical tasks throughout the day.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
