Machinist – St James Parish

 

We are searching for an experience Machinist for a long term, full time position in St James Parish

 

Duties and Expectations:

• Produce stand-alone machine work on a manual machine
• Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
• Operate manual lathes to produce precision parts
• Knowledgeable in interpreting blueprints, fundamentals of mechanics, fabrication, and repairs of rotating equipment.
• Interpret and use precision measuring equipment/instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.

 

Demonstrated Experience with:

• Lathes
• Mills
• Drill press
• Boring mill (horizontal and vertical).
• Bearing housing and shaft work
