Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our clients' food service team. The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverages while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be reliable, maintain food safety standards, and work efficiently as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 an hour

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide accurate change.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining areas.
• Stock supplies, condiments, beverages, and food items as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Monitor food quality and ensure proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Replenish inventory and notify supervisors of low-stock items.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and food service machinery.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, restaurant, concession, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling and math skills.
