Summer Custodial Worker

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Temporary Summer Position)

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Summer Custodial Workers to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of local parks and public facilities. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for park visitors. Team members will work both independently and as part of a team while interacting with the public throughout the day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize park restrooms daily.
Maintain the cleanliness of parks, shelters, and other public facilities.
Prepare park shelters and facilities for rentals and community events.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Restock restroom supplies as needed.
Drive a 1-ton custodial truck between park locations.
Identify and report park maintenance or safety concerns while working throughout the parks.
Provide courteous customer service when interacting with park visitors.
Perform other custodial and general maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid Oregon Driver License with a clean driving record required.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Customer service experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
Work on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
