Branch Manager – Irving, NY

Express Employment Professionals is helping a credit union is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the opening and operations of its new Irving, NY branch. This full-time position splits time between Irving and the main office in Fredonia, NY, with regular travel required. No evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations and lead the launch of the new location
• Deliver exceptional member service and build strong community relationships
• Oversee lending, deposits, cash management, audits, security, and compliance
• Drive loan and deposit growth while supporting member financial needs
• Resolve member concerns and promote financial education
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient operations
• Represent the credit union in the community and support business development
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of banking or credit union leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending, deposit products, and branch operations
• Understanding of NCUA, BSA/AML, and lending regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to member service and relationship building

Preferred

• Credit union experience
• Consumer loan underwriting experience
• Notary Public
• Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 proficiency
• Experience with CompuSource Systems and digital banking platforms
