We have a full-service manufacturing facility located in Houston, TX looking for a CAD drafter with 5 Years of experience to create detailed 3D models of our products and job specific layouts of our systems for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD.

 

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of products
• Create drawings that are accurate to specifications.
• Create drawings that accurately represent product features.
• Create drawings that accurately represent product dimensions.
• Assist in the completion of projects by providing detailed information about products and building models as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role within architectural, engineering, or construction industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code compliance.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• Familiarity with system design principles for mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to interpret architectural sketches, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills.
• Construction experience or background in interior design is advantageous.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles for creating visually compelling presentations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
