Machine Operator 2nd shift

Located in Worcester, MA

Salary: $18.25 PLUS

Responsibilities & Duties:

·         Operate rubber processing machines such as molding presses, extruders, mixers, or grinders under supervision.

·         Load raw materials (e.g., rubber compounds) into machines and monitor processing cycles.

·         Inspect finished parts for quality, defects, or inconsistencies using visual checks and basic measurement tools.

·         Report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors immediately.

·         Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

·         Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

·         Assist with machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.

·         Complete production logs and paperwork accurately.

·         Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

·        High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

·         No prior machine operation experience needed; training will be provided.

·         Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Basic math and measurement skills.

·         Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [30] lbs.

·         Willingness to work in a hot, industrial environment.

·         Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

·         Flexibility to work overtime when required

·         Must have reliable transportation

 

Preferred (but not required):

·         Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

·         Familiarity with safety standards in an industrial environment.
