Essential FunctionsAn individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.Apply labels to correct location on freights/pallets/merchandise.Provide basic maintenance to receiving equipment (e.g., cleaning, changing labels and ribbons).Manage freight deliveries through processing, identifying, counting, separating and scanning freight; operating computer software and basicapplications to track and identify freight; unloading freight from trailer manually or with power equipment; and maintaining records, logs and forms.Organize work area through stacking empty pallets, and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack or power equipment.Maintain a safe work area through checking the integrity of trailers/pallets (e.g., leaks, pest infestation, trailer damage).MUST BRING AN ID TO CHECK INTO THE WAREHOUSE Dress code: Associates need to wear closed toe and closed heal shoes, hair past shoulder length needs to be tied back while around equipment, shorts need to be no more than 6 inches above knee, and no offensive wording or images on clothing.
