Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving) - HVAC Company

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and operating a sit-down forklift. Candidates must possess a current forklift certification and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling HVAC equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC parts, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Move, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Pick and stage orders for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed correctly.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with other warehouse duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading materials.
• Valid sit-down forklift certification required.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Experience working with HVAC products or industrial materials is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
