Summary: Seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support the shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Perform shipping and receiving functions, including loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate sit-down propane/electric forklifts, stand-up forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Process UPS and FedEx shipments and generate shipping labels.
- Create packing lists, invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
- Stock shelves and organize warehouse inventory.
- Read lot numbers and verify product accuracy.
- Navigate warehouse bin locations and storage schematics to locate materials efficiently.
- Enter shipping, inventory, and logistics data into Excel, Microsoft Word, and other company systems.
- Scan, email, log, and maintain warehouse documentation.
- Assist with general warehouse organization while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Support additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving, or distribution experience required.
- Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping software and shipping label creation.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
- Ability to create packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read lot numbers and product information.
- Ability to read numerical warehouse bin locations and warehouse schematics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
- Work in a warehouse environment while following all safety procedures.
