Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Cleaning Technician!

Position Summary: As a Cleaning Technician, you will help maintain clean, welcoming, and well-kept residential properties managed by a local Property Management company. This position will clean common areas across 18 properties and assist with apartment rental turns and Airbnb cleanouts. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently at multiple locations throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean common areas at apartment and HOA properties, including hallways, entryways, stairwells, and other shared spaces
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash
• Complete detailed cleaning of vacant homes, apartments, and condos between residents
• Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including ovens, refrigerators, sinks, countertops, toilets, showers, and floors
• Complete Airbnb cleanouts and prepare properties for incoming guests
• Restock cleaning products, linens, and guest supplies as needed
• Follow cleaning checklists and ensure each property meets established quality standards
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage, or missing supplies
• Travel between properties using a reliable personal vehicle; mileage will be reimbursed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, rental-turn, or Airbnb experience is preferred but not required

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday; 8AM – 5PM
• Sunday; 8AM – 5PM

Pay:

• $18.00 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between properties
