Press Brake & Production Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Press Brake & Production Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working with metal fabrication equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Summary

The Press Brake & Production Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brakes and other production equipment safely and efficiently. This role also supports general production operations while maintaining quality standards and a clean, organized work area.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake equipment.
  • Operate production machines and presses according to work instructions.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished parts to ensure specifications are met.
  • Use measuring tools accurately to verify product dimensions.
  • Complete production records and required paperwork accurately.
  • Dispose of scrap materials in designated containers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
  • Assist with general production and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience operating press brakes or punch presses is a plus.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Safety-focused with a dependable work ethic.
  • Forklift experience is a plus (training available).

Physical Requirements

  • Lift materials appropriate to assigned tasks (mechanical lifting equipment available for heavier loads).
  • Stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the work area.
  • Push carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and leg movements.
  • Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Perform basic math, counting, and recordkeeping.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8-hour shifts (unless otherwise specified)

Pay

$18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
