Shipping Cell Leader Trainee

Location: Mesquite, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM until daily shipping/loading is completed (Overtime expected; some Saturdays required)
Pay: $17.00/hour

 

Position Summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping Cell Leader Trainee to support daily shipping and loading operations. This hands-on position is responsible for loading outbound shipments, operating a forklift, ensuring order accuracy, and assisting with shipping activities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and loading trucks in varying weather conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load outbound trucks accurately and safely
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials
• Verify shipping orders and ensure load accuracy
• Assist with shipping and warehouse operations
• Utilize RFID scanners and other tracking systems when needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Work outdoors while loading trucks in various weather conditions
• Follow all company safety procedures and shipping protocols
• Assist with additional warehouse and plant duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• RFID scanner experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Dependable with a strong attendance record
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
