Production Interior Door Assembly

Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury, MN is seeking two door assemblers for a growing company in the East Metro for the following.

Assemble interior door units (including pre-hung doors) in a production environment while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.

Evaluation to Hire

$20/hr entry level for those with a solid work history/longevity

Mon-Fri - 6a-2:30pm

Primary Responsibilities

• Assemble pre-hung interior doors and door components according to work orders.
• Position, fasten, and secure door frames, jambs, hinges, stops, and hardware.
• Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
• Operate production equipment and hand or power tools safely.
• Inspect completed doors for quality and remove or repair defective products.
• Move between workstations as production demands change.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is typically required (entry-level).
• Carpentry or woodworking experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to:
  • Read simple instructions.
  • Read a tape measure accurately.
  • Perform basic math.
  • Work well on a team.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Background check/Drug Screen required

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Team lift
• Bend, kneel, stoop, and reach regularly.
• Work around machinery in a loud manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
