If you enjoy both hands-on work and interacting with customers, explore this Blueprint Specialist role. The Blueprint Specialist role is a hybrid of production and customer service for a printing company. The exceptional candidate will manage book orders from production through customer pickup. You will produce large-format plans, specification books, and digital documents while providing excellent customer service.

Hours: 7:30a or 8:00a - 4:00p

Pay: $17-18 range

Production Duties:

·       Print construction plans and other large-format documents with a high level of accuracy.

·       Manage blueprint and specification book orders from production through completion.

·       Organize, assemble, and staple completed blueprint sets for customer delivery.

·       Scan original blueprints to create accurate PDF files for electronic distribution.

·       Produce 8.5" × 11" and 11" × 17" specification books and completed finishing using comb binding.

·       Assist with print production tasks, including preparing mailings, counting and packaging products, and supporting general shop operations.

·       Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily production duties.

 

Customer Service & Administrative Duties:

·       Review order requirements to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

·       Communicate with customers regarding project details, questions, and order status updates.

·       Prepare invoices and email digital files to customers.

·       Assist customers with order pickup and provide professional customer service.

·       Operate cash registers and credit card terminals while accurately processing payments and handling cash transactions.
