Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

Measure, cut, fit, and weld steel components

Operate welding equipment such as MIG, stick and other fabrication tools

Grind, clean, and finish welded products

inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy 

Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies 

assist with fabrication and of truck beds, trailers, dumpsters and custom steel products

 

Qualifications

 5 years experience 

Ability to pass a weld test 

Knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication

ability to read blue prints 

strong attention to detail and quality workmanship 

ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment
