Receptionist

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Receptionist for a local client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a professional office environment. No prior medical office experience is required—the client is willing to train the right candidate from the ground up.

Position Overview

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional experience. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer, handle, and direct multiple phone lines
• Greet, check in, and direct walk-in patients
• Provide pleasant, professional customer service in all interactions
• Assist with filing and maintaining organized records
• Manage front desk operations efficiently
• Multitask in a fast-paced office setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Support general administrative and office functions as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly, positive attitude with every interaction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• High attention to detail
• Professional and attentive demeanor

Preferred

• Experience with multi-line phone systems
• Customer service experience
• Filing and general office experience

The client is open to candidates with or without formal education or office experience and is willing to train the right individual.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to sit for the majority of the workday

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location

This position is fully onsite at the client's physical office location. No travel is required.
