Our client, a staffing leader that deals with large events, is looking for General Labourers for a special one-day assignment!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the tear down of concert stage following the event
• Load and unload equipment, materials, and production gear into transport trucks
• Push, pull, and maneuver rolling carts, road cases, dollies, and equipment carts throughout the venue
• Assist with dismantling and removing lighting, stage, and sound equipment
• Stack and organize chairs and seating components
• Support production crews with the movement of equipment and materials
• Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient and safe tear-down operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the assignment
• Follow all venue and event safety procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills: 

• 1-2 years of General Labourer, Moving, or Event Setup/Tear Down experience
• Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions closely
• PPE Required: Hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility vest, safety gloves

Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting concerts, festivals, live events, or stage productions (asset)
• Familiarity with event setup and tear-down procedures (asset)

 Compensation and Hours:

• Wednesday: 10:00pm to 5:00am (possibility of longer shift)
• Pay rate: $22 per hour
