Our Current Need:

We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Mechanic to join the maintenance team at one of the top local employers in the area! Job duties include performing PM on machines and equipment as well troubleshooting and repair of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems. Additional responsibilities for plant maintenance including pump and electrical equipment.

Summary of Duties:

This manufacturing position will be based in Sycamore, Il and will be an integral part of our production group. 

 

Requirements:

Qualified Candidates shall exhibit one or more of the following attributes:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds through-out the shift
• Dependable – must have reliable transportation and be to work on time daily
• People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
• Careful – safety minded, controlled and careful work
• Achievement-oriented -  enjoys taking on challenges
• Autonomous/Independent - enjoys working with little direction
• Process Oriented – enjoys working in an environment where following a process is key to success

Previous Experience Required:

• Previous industrial maintenance required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Familiar with lock out tag out procedures
• Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to perform PM and troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment

Pay: $20.00/ hour and up based on experience
