Duties:

• Lead and supervise a team of 4-8 shipping employees.
• Coordinate daily shipping schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Prioritize shipments based on production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Work with carriers and freight providers to resolve shipping issues and optimize delivery performance.
• Monitor shipping accuracy, quality, and department productivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production, customer service, and sales to support customer needs.
• Maintain shipping records, inventory of shipping supplies, and compliance with safety standards.

What We Look For:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, freight coordination, and carrier management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience improving processes and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipping or ERP software is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.
