Automotive Technician

Salary: Up to $30/hr

Automotive Technician Company Information: A reputable full-service automotive repair shop in Morristown is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicle issues, from routine maintenance to major mechanical repairs. The shop is looking for a skilled technician who can work independently and take pride in providing quality service to customers.

Automotive Technician Pay & Benefits:

• $23 - $30/HR (based on experience)

Automotive Technician Schedule:

• Day Shift
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Automotive Technician Job Duties:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle mechanical issues.
• Perform engine replacements and major engine repairs.
• Complete brake system inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services including fluid changes, tune-ups, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot drivability concerns and identify necessary repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately assess vehicle conditions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations effectively.
• Assist with other automotive service duties as needed.

Automotive Technician Requirements:

• Strong automotive mechanical knowledge is required.
• Experience performing engine swaps, brake repairs, and A/C repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
• Automotive certifications are preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have your own basic automotive tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
