Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift (Floater)

Pay: Starting at $21.05/hour

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local company and is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead quality inspection teams on 2nd shift. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, support and develop employees, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support inspectors and team leaders to achieve daily production and quality goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment while ensuring company policies and safety standards are followed.
  • Schedule employees and coordinate staffing to meet customer needs.
  • Train, onboard, and develop team members while providing performance feedback.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and maintain accurate production records.
  • Partner with customers, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Conduct quality audits and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Coordinate travel and secure necessary tools and supplies for off-site projects.
  • Communicate staffing needs, operational updates, and business opportunities to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; local travel between sites in the Greenville/Spartanburg areas is required.
  • Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and post-offer physical.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently (up to 75 pounds with assistance).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
