Position: Dispatcher

 

A logistics company in Haltom City is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher!

   

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

 

Pay:  $24/hr 

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize driver routes for efficiency and service reliability
• Manage terminal and dispatch operations, including driver assignments and daily communications
• Monitor driver progress throughout the day and provide real-time support as needed
• Ensure drivers complete accurate trip reports, dispatch logs, and manifests
• Verify driver compliance with pre-trip inspections, uniform standards, and required equipment
• Ensure company vehicles are clean and meet maintenance and safety standards
• Report service and maintenance issues to leasing companies and supervisors
• Track variable expenses including fuel and mileage; report discrepancies or concerns

 

Position Qualifications:

·         Willingness to be reachable via company-provided phone during off-duty hours for emergencies

·         May require some travel
