Project Coordinator – Night Shift (Floater)

Pay: Starting at $22.59/hour

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local client to source a motivated Project Coordinator to oversee quality inspection operations on the night shift. This role is responsible for leading teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support supervisors, team leaders, and inspectors to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure all quality, safety, and company procedures are followed.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, staffing, and project activities to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and process reviews to support continuous improvement.
• Complete reports, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure billing information is correct.
• Assist with scheduling, travel coordination, and other operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; local travel between multiple locations in the Greenville/Spartanburg areas will be necessary.
• Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and post-offer physical.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently (up to 75 pounds with assistance).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
