Exciting Job Opportunity: Warehouse Agent

Shift/Hours: MON-FRI 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr
Assignment Duration: Temp to Hire

Join our team as a Warehouse Agent responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You'll also identify discrepancies in received loads against the manifest.

**Steel-Toed Boots/Safety shoes are required.**

 

Essential Functions:
- Utilize manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading.
- Handle materials, including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and product counting.
- Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work accurately.
- Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Read and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a safe work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills/Competencies:
- Proficiency in forklifts, pallet jacks, and using RF scan guns.
- Forklift certifications preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented.
- Basic MS Office and data entry skills are a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs unassisted.

 

Experience:
- 1+ year of warehouse experience.
- Verifiable 1+ year of experience operating reach truck and sit-down counterbalance fork truck.

 

Physical Requirements:
- Steel-Toed Boots/Safety shoes required.
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and operating equipment.
- Lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Phone and PC usage for shipping documents.
