Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pay: $22.00/hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected organization in the manufacturing industry for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to join a stable company with a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Process customer payments and apply cash receipts accurately.
Generate and distribute invoices and account statements.
Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment inquiries.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account-related concerns.
Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable experience required.
Experience with invoicing, payment processing, collections, and account reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an asset.
