Mechanical Insulator Technician (Entry-Level & Skilled)
Location: Los Alamitos, CA (must be willing to travel)
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm (must be flexible)
Pay range: $25-$40/hr+ (DOE)

Summary
We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn the trade, as well as experienced mechanical insulators capable of working independently to work for a leading provider of mechanical insulation services for commercial and industrial facilities. We specialize in thermal insulation systems that improve energy efficiency, equipment performance, personnel protection, and process temperature control.

Entry-Level / Non-Skilled Requirements

• Follow directions and work under supervision.
• Assist Mechanical Insulators with installation activities.
• Good attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and use a measuring tape.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to lift and carry materials and perform physical labor throughout the day.
• Reliable transportation to jobsites within 50 miles.

 

Skilled Mechanical Insulator Requirements

• Previous mechanical insulation experience required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Install insulation systems according to project specifications and quality standards.
• Meet daily productivity goals based on project requirements and experience level.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate installation.
• Ability to read drawings and measurements.
• Photos/examples of previous insulation work are a plus.
