CNC Set-up

Location: Hamden, CT

Pay rate: $21-45/hr, based on experience

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm or Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 7 am to 11 am

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and program CNC milling machines, lathes, Swiss
  • Maintain machines during operation
  • Assist operators inspect parts
  • Load and unload materials
  • Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
  • Assist in complete first piece inspections
  • Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures
  • Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CNC machining or milling experience, we can train if necessary
  • Experience using calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to read basic blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand throughout the shift
