Warehouse Foreman

Located in Sutton, MA

Warehouse Foreman would be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, and coordinating efficient material handling and distribution. The warehouse foreman function aligns with the core duties of a warehouse foreman in a recycling or materials handling environment.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse activities within their area of responsibility, including receiving, storing, and distributing recyclable materials
• Supervise a small team of hourly warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring work is completed efficiently
• Work directly with management to plan and execute warehouse operations, balancing oversight with direct work requirements
• Implement and monitor safety programs, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with CBI sustainability policies and environmental regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment
• Ensure inventory accuracy, with a focus on dry goods and recyclable materials 
• Collaborate with production control teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and address material needs
• Track and manage materials, including overages, scarcity, and dead stock, and recommend process improvements 
• Oversee lift truck and battery operations, communicating issues to supervisors and maintenance 
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries 
• Serve as a liaison between management, warehouse staff, and other departments 
• Resolve operational issues quickly and communicate effectively across teams 
• Develop and maintain training programs for warehouse personnel, ensuring they understand safety, handling procedures, and operational expectations
