Saw Operator (2nd Shift) (A1230)

Salary: $18.00 an Hour 10% Shift Diff

Our client in Mentor, OH is looking for an experienced Saw Operator to join their 2nd shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong measuring skills and experience accurately cutting metal to specifications.

Schedule: Monday–Thurs 3:00 PM–Midnight Fri 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Pay: $18/hr, plus 10% shift differential

Job Duties:

• Operate precision metal-cutting saws
• Accurately measure and cut materials to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints/prints
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
• Inspect finished cuts for accuracy and quality
• Operate tow motor/forklift as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Previous metal sawing or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read prints
• Comfortable using micrometers and calipers
• Forklift/tow motor experience preferred
• Safety-minded and dependable
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand throughout the shift
