Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Terminal Operator to join a growing team in Fort Stockton, TX. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, performing maintenance, and working in an industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

Operate terminal equipment to unload cement from railcars and load cement into trucks.
Process shipping and receiving documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, weight tickets, and load-out tickets.
Utilize computer systems and software to track shipments, process orders, and communicate with the main office.
Coordinate with truck drivers, railroad personnel, customers, vendors, and the order center to ensure timely deliveries.
Operate forklifts, Trackmobiles, and other terminal equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on terminal machinery and equipment, including air compressors, valves, augers, vibrators, dust collectors, hydraulic cylinders, and more.
Diagnose equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform welding and cutting torch work as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and collect cement samples.
Complete general housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe workplace.

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude with maintenance and repair experience preferred.
Welding experience is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts and industrial equipment (or willingness to learn).
Comfortable working outdoors and in an industrial environment.
Ability to lift, bend, crawl, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Basic computer knowledge required.
