Hemsaw Operator Needed!!!!!

One will operate horizontal band saw (HEM Saw) equipment to cut steel, aluminum, and other metals according to job orders, blueprints, and measurement requirements. Interpret and verify measurements using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accuracy within required tolerances. Set up saw operations, including blade selection, tensioning, speed adjustments, vise positioning, and material alignment. Monitor cutting processes to ensure clean, accurate cuts and adjust machine settings as needed. Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as blade changes, lubrication, coolant checks, and cleaning to ensure optimal machine performance. Inspect finished cuts for quality, squareness, and dimensional accuracy; document any deviations or defects. Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and safety procedures to meet daily output goals. Handle raw materials safely, including loading/unloading steel bars, tubes, and structural components using pallet jacks, carts, or overhead cranes (if applicable). Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, welders, machinists, and other team members to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.

One must know how to identify shapes and accurately read a tape measure.

Pays up to $23 an hour.
