Full time – Temp to hire

Monday through Friday - 6am to 2:30pm

$19hr to $21hr depending on experience.

Company specializing in the design, engineering and manufacturing of components for commercial aircraft cabin interiors and In-flight Entertainment is looking for CNC Machine Operator to join their team in Northridge.

Summary: The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating HAAS CNC milling and lathe machines to produce high-quality aerospace components that meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate HAAS CNC milling and lathe machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Verify finished parts conform to specifications using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, written specifications, charts, and other technical documentation.
• Maintain high production efficiencies while meeting quality standards and minimizing scrap and rework.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in proper working condition.
• Accurately document completed work and maintain production records.
• Adhere to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention policies and quality procedures.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes preferred.
• Proficient in using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and related inspection tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Previous experience operating HAAS CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Manufacturing experience within the aerospace or precision machining industry is preferred but not required.
