Temporary Maintenance & Labor Associate (Turn Team)
Location: Lexington, KY
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM (August 1-August 17)
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking 3 Temporary Maintenance & Labor Associates to support a busy property turn and move-in season from August 1 through August 17. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position for dependable individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a fast-paced team.
Associates will assist with maintenance projects, furniture installation, cleaning, grounds work, and move-in preparation to help ensure units are ready for incoming residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, assemble, and install furniture
- Assist with maintenance tasks and unit preparation
- Complete painting touch-ups and general labor duties
- Support grounds maintenance and trash removal
- Assist with cleaning and property readiness projects
- Help with resident move-ins and unit setup
- Safely use basic hand tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and team instructions
Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day
- Experience using basic hand tools preferred
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain excellent attendance
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a background check
