Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Turf, Shrub & Pest Technician for a growing outdoor services team in Fairhope. This position is responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes through turf care, shrub treatments, and pest control services. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and providing quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

✅ Apply treatments to lawns, shrubs, and landscape areas
✅ Perform turf and ornamental plant care services
✅ Identify and address common lawn, shrub, and pest issues
✅ Operate company equipment and tools safely
✅ Follow treatment plans and service instructions
✅ Maintain accurate service records and communicate with team members
✅ Provide professional and courteous service to customers
✅ Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment

Requirements

✅ Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
✅ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
✅ Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
✅ Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
✅ Ability to lift, carry, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
✅ Previous landscaping, lawn care, pest control, or outdoor service experience preferred

Work Environment

✅ Outdoor position with daily travel to customer properties
✅ Requires standing, walking, lifting, and working with equipment
✅ Fast-paced role focused on quality service and customer satisfaction
