Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Driver/Warehouse Associate for a well-established construction supply company in Virginia Beach. This is a hands-on position that combines local deliveries with warehouse operations, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, staying active, and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver construction supplies and materials to customers throughout Hampton Roads using company vehicles
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Receive incoming shipments from freight carriers and vendors
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory movement
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided as needed)
• Maintain accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service
• Assist in the warehouse during slower delivery periods to support daily operations

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous warehouse, delivery driving, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Ability to work in both warehouse and delivery environments
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check required for access to military installations and deliveries to local military bases.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds safely
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading materials
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the workday

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Local deliveries throughout Hampton Roads
• Home every evening – no overnight travel
