Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling equipment, producing high-quality machined components, and ensuring all work meets quality and production standards.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining, can work independently, and is comfortable performing machine setups, making program adjustments, and inspecting finished parts.

Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation

Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production.
Load machine programs and make minor adjustments as needed.
Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform machine setup changes between production runs.
Maintain production while meeting established quality standards.

Quality Control

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Verify parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
Identify quality concerns and make appropriate machine adjustments.

Production & Safety

Select appropriate tooling for machining operations.
Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
Follow all workplace safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous CNC machining experience required.
Experience operating CNC milling equipment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience performing machine setups and minor program adjustments.
Familiarity with tooling selection and machining processes.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with both vertical and horizontal CNC mills.
Basic CNC programming knowledge or experience making program edits.
Familiarity with G-code or conversational CNC controls.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
