Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking dependable Assemblers for a full-time opportunity in the Point of Rocks, MD area.

This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing/production environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable using hand and power tools, able to follow instructions, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to specifications
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Measure, position, and secure materials and components
• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and basic measurements
• Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy
• Move and organize materials throughout the work area
• Maintain an efficient and organized workstation
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, production, or general labor experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing hands-on work
• Ability to accurately use basic measurements
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable standing and performing physical work throughout the shift
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Pay

$17.00 per hour
