Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a respected local agricultural client to hire Aerosol Applicator Assistants in Wenatchee, WA. If you enjoy hands-on work, like working outdoors, and want to be part of a team that helps protect fresh produce, this could be a great opportunity for you! 

• Assistant I – $18.00/hr

• Assistant II – $19.00/hr

• Assistant III – $20.00/hr

With room to advance even further with experience and certification.

The workday normally starts at 7am but can change with customers' needs. During the peak season (Aug-Sep) might be required to work 12 hr shifts.

What You'll Do

As an Aerosol Applicator Assistant, you'll work alongside the Lead Applicator to safely and efficiently apply post-harvest treatment products used to preserve the quality and freshness of fruits and vegetables.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the setup and operation of aerosol application equipment
• Loading and handling products while following all safety procedures
• Supporting the application process at various work sites
• Monitoring equipment and environmental conditions during applications
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
• Wearing and properly using required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Recording application information and assisting with documentation
• Working closely with teammates to complete projects safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to agricultural products, aerosols, and related equipment
• Daily travel to local job sites
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on project schedules
